What are the Components of the Local Governance Resource Center? (LGRC)

The LGRC has four (4) major components, namely: Multimedia Knowledge, Capacity Development, Public Education and Citizenship, and Linkage.

 The table below shows the 4 major components with their corresponding roles and functions:

- Digitizing LGRC materials for online access

- Updating of the LGRC Website 

 Capacity Development

- Updating of the LGRC Brochure and Website

- Updating of the Capability Program Brochure

- Provision of a regional report on the State of Local Governance of Region 7

- Preparation of a list of CAPDEV needs of LGUs

- Development of an Monitoring and Evaluation System 

 Public Education and Citizenship
 
- Facility to promote good local governance practices and innovations through:
 
    1. Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Exchange Programs through conferences, round table discussions, fora on:
 
           a. exemplary practices
           b. tools and processes
           c. cases
           d. policy issues
           e. governance trends
 
    2. Information Dissemination
    3. Outreach
    4. Partnerships with media for public education 
 
 Linkage

 - Facilitating the conduct of and record minutes of the MSAC Meetings

- Coordination with partners in the conduct of different KM activities and following-up their commitments

- Maintaining a list of partners and their services and a list  of experts
